In 2020 Veda was the pandemic artist-in-residence at the Cultch in Vancouver, writing songs and finding ways to perform solo concerts and shows with her indefatigable theatre gang under covid restrictions. Veda is currently working on an album of songs written in quarantine, a new musical with Amiel Gladstone, and an adaptation of Brave New World with Marcus Youssef.
